IAIM Instructors
The role of the Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) is to facilitate and help enhance the loving relationship between infants and parents. Infant massage is an ideal medium, because it naturally encompasses all of the elements of the bonding process.
All IAIM trained instructors will have completed our own unique training programme with an IAIM International Trainer (the same training undertaken by IAIM instructors in many different countries throughout the world). This training enables them to teach parents how to massage their babies from newborn up to the age of one year in all of our participating Countries.
The instructor teaches the massage strokes to parents by demonstrating on her own doll. Encouragement is given by the instructor during each session to respect and respond to the individual needs of the babies in the class.
Our instructors will aim to create a warm and relaxing class environment, allowing individual baby's needs to be considered and parents to spend time learning from each others knowledge and experiences. Friendships are frequently made which continue long after the course has finished.
