Our Role
The UK Chapter was set up to co-ordinate and assist the work of the rapidly growing number of Certified Infant Massage Instructors who have undergone training provided by IAIM Instructor Trainers, and to offer support and advice to anyone who may need it during or after the examination process.
Details of all IAIM training participants are notified to our Membership Secretary by the course organisers, and registered by us as Associate -Members of the UK Chapter. On successful completion of their examination, the CIMIs details will be added to our list of qualified instructors, to whom we will forward local enquiries about classes (received at our office from parents and other parties), as long as they remain as members.
For this reason, and to enable us to maintain a complete record of CIMIs in the UK (one of our obligations to the IAIM International Board), as soon as you have received your certificate, please complete the attached form, and send it, together with a copy of your certificate, and a passport photograph of yourself, to the address shown on the form.
Yours first year’s membership is incorporated in your initial fee, after which an annual subscription will ensure your continued registration on our list of CIMIs, as well as regular newsletters, being added to our referal list (unless stated otherwise), a network of regional representatives and other instructors to support you, membership of an International Association whose philosophy and standards are recognised as being of the highest quality, and access to all its resources.

- To give prospective trainee instructors information on courses and the association.
- Special need support.
- To help promote positive touch through massage nationally.
