5 week IAIM accredited Baby Massage Class. Sessions are baby-led so feeding, breaks, crying and sleeping is all welcomed! Sessions are approximately 90 minutes long and during our 5 weeks together I will guide you through a full massage routine with your baby that is known to aid with digestive issues, constipation, teething pain, and bonding as well as enhancing sleep quality for both baby and parent. The massage routine we learn was developed by the International Association of Infant Massage in the 1970's and only available to parents who attend an IAIM class. The routine includes strokes from Indian and Swedish culture, as well as yoga theories and practices. We also cover a short theory topic during each session, to help build your knowledge of infant massage and gain confidence. Lots of opportunity for chat with other parents, refreshments and homemade cake always provided. Parking and indoor buggy storage at the venue. All equipment needing during the course is provided, and I will give you massage oil and parent handouts to use when practising your massage at home with your baby.
