We’re Ash & Evie, two sisters who founded The Mama Chapter in March 2025 with one simple mission: to redefine the early days of motherhood.
What started as a single brunch event quickly became something much bigger — a space where mums could meet others who truly get it, feel less alone, and enjoy meaningful moments during a time that can often feel overwhelming.
Today, The Mama Chapter is a growing Essex-based community built around connection, care and calm. Everything we create is designed with real motherhood in mind — welcoming, relaxed, and supportive, with babies always at the heart of it.

About Classes:
Our IAIM accredited baby massage course is all about slowing down, connecting, and learning the power of gentle touch. Over 5 sessions, you’ll be guided through simple massage techniques that can soothe your baby, support their development, and strengthen your bond.
Perfect for babies from birth, this IAIM-accredited course is completely baby-led; so if you need to feed, cuddle or settle your little one at any time, that’s absolutely fine.
What you’ll learn:
Full body massage routines
Special strokes to ease colic, wind and teething
Calming techniques to support better sleep
Gentle movements to encourage your baby’s development
Ways to use massage as part of your daily routine
What’s included:
5 weekly sessions in a calm, welcoming space
Ongoing support from a certified IAIM instructor
A chance to meet other mums and share the experience together
A free voucher for one of our Coffee & Walk events to keep the mama connection going!
With just 7 mums and babies per group, you’ll have time and space to ask questions, take things at your own pace and make real connections with others in the same season of motherhood. We’ll set up a group WhatsApp chat just before the course starts, so the chats and support can carry on outside of class too.
It’s a lovely way to look forward to your weekly meet-up, and start building real friendships that go beyond the studio and into your motherhood journey.💛
